1.
William Wilfred born TBA. Bill spent most of his working life in the grocery trade with Davey & Waddington. Bill was an excellent cornet
player winning many state and national titles. For many, many years he was also a stalwart of the Marist Brothers Brass Band.

Fred & Eileen had three children; John, Peter and Anthony.

John Fairbank born 24 May 1938. John was a good all round sportsman and eventually, after leading the local
league the goal kicking while playing for South Bendigo went on to play 9 seasons with the North Melbourne Football
Club.
He coached in the Ovens & Murray (winning that league’s best & fairest) and in Queensland. John was a primary
school teacher in both Victoria and Queensland and only retired in 2012. John who lives in Northern NSW (Benora
Point) married and had three children (John’s Family Tree).

Peter D’Arcy. Pete too was a keen sportsman; he excelled at basketball and also played football for South
Bendigo (South Thirds Premiership photo). Peter was a fitter & turner and after an apprenticeship at the Bendigo
Ordinance Factory, he joined the Australian Army. Peter married and had three daughters. Peter died in
October 2002.

Anthony Francis: Tony too enjoy sport but only played a few games with South thirds. He also played basketball
with the Beavers Club and represented Bendigo in the Country Championships. Tony worked for many years in Victorian Tourism leaving
the organisation after seventeen years of managing the Queensland office. Until its sale in July 2013, with wife Fay, he operated a touring
company. Tony married (twice) and had four sons (Anthony’s family tree). Fay & Tony live in the Brisbane suburb of Wooloowin.

Jack & Noeline had two sons.
1.
Leon drove long haul trucks and dabbled in politics, standing unsuccessfully for the Victorian Parliamentary seat of
Bendigo East in the 1988 state election. Leon married Glenda Rinaldi and they had 6 children (Leon’s Family Tree).
Glenda and Leon live in the Bendigo suburb of Golden Square.
